Written by Light is a short film that explores the art and craft of photography, I wanted to look at the role light has in shaping our perception of reality.

I was inspired by the collaboration between World Press Photo and Magnum Photos, who curated this year’s Magnum Square Print Event from their archives.

In light of the recent events in Gaza and Israel, Magnum Photos and World Press Photo will be donating a portion of their profits from the sale to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in order to support humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of war and other situations of violence around the world.
